Follow the workflow

  1. Try your phone recorder in a quiet place if your own voice meets the need. Make a short test before a full take.
  2. If you need generated speech, check the provider’s current usage terms and choose an authorized voice. Do not assume a voice sample grants permission to impersonate someone.
  3. Approve the script before generation. Remove directions that should not be spoken and test names or numbers in a short sample.
  4. Listen to the whole output and align it with relevant visuals in your editor. Generated audio alone does not synchronize a visible person’s mouth. Use rerecording or an explicitly reviewed lip-sync workflow for changed on-camera words.
