Follow the workflow
- Duplicate the project or keep the original clips untouched. Mark complete sentences you want to retain.
- Cut matching audio and video together. Listen across each edit before adding transitions; a neat transcript can still produce an awkward cut.
- For a changed line, rerecord it or place authorized new narration under a relevant cutaway. TTS alone will not change an existing mouth movement.
- If a dedicated lip-sync tool is appropriate, test a small authorized sample separately and compare facial movement and meaning. Do not assume a generated replacement is acceptable.
- Export and watch the whole file with headphones. Check opening and ending frames, captions, missing words and unintended jumps before uploading manually.

Fictional edit decision Keep: original sentence explaining the setup. Remove: repeated introduction, audio and video together. Replace: outdated number with a new recorded line over an original detail shot. Review: ensure the cutaway actually illustrates the corrected point.

Common problem and recovery
If an edit changes meaning, restore the complete sentence. A slightly longer honest edit is preferable to a misleading short one.
