Follow the workflow
- Open the saved media file and inspect it. Copy the final caption; if clipboard access fails, select the text and copy manually.
- Open the platform you intend to use and confirm the account/channel. A destination link does not connect an account or authorize posting.
- Upload the file using that platform’s controls. Paste the caption, review the preview and complete publication yourself.
- Open the resulting public page. Record its URL and actual publication date in your workflow; a planned date is not an automatic schedule.
- If collecting performance, enter observations and their dates manually. Different platforms count metrics differently, so do not combine unlike figures as if they were identical.
Worked example · illustrative, not a reported result
Manual status example: ready = saved file and approved caption; published = you completed the platform upload and checked the post; result observed = you entered a dated measurement. A copied caption alone is none of those.

Common problem and recovery
If the platform rejects the file type, use a suitable editor to export a supported format and verify the new file. Keep the original until the replacement works.
