Decide whether AI helps this task

Choose the method before choosing a subscription.

Who this helps: Creators and small-business owners

Bring: The task, the consequences of a wrong answer, and the material you already have.

Follow the workflow

  1. Write the output you need in one sentence. A clearer caption and a verified product measurement are different jobs.
  2. Use direct editing for a small wording change, a calculator for exact arithmetic, and original media when fidelity matters. AI can explain supplied results but does not replace measurement.
  3. Use an assistant when you need alternative structures or a first draft from approved notes. Set aside time to review it.
  4. Test the smallest useful output. Compare effort including correction and verification, not only generation time. Keep the ordinary-software option if it is simpler.
Worked example · illustrative, not a reported result

Illustrative choice: “How much space does this table need?” → measure it and check the specification. “How can I explain why that space matters?” → draft from those approved facts.

Prompt to adapt

Replace placeholders with approved facts. Copy or download locally, then paste into your chosen tool yourself. No automatic import occurs.

Before you move on
  • Can you verify the result?
  • Is private information actually necessary?
  • Would a simpler method finish sooner?
Common problem and recovery

A polished answer can hide missing evidence. Ask for questions and unknowns, not confident filler.
